These are just a few of my collection of aircraft that have seen service with the RFC,RAF,AAC & FAA(Royal Flying Corps,Royal Air Force,Army Air
Corps & Fleet Air Arm)

I have been making models since the 1960s and have quite a large collection, one of my early problems was to find a satisfactory method of
displaying them. It didn't take long to find out that if they were placed on a shelf or top of a wardrobe that inquisitive fingers, dust and the odd passing animal was having a detrimental effect on their appearance

The answer was to invest in  display cabinets, the first one came free thanks to a relative, the second I bought in an old second hand furniture shop - it cost £15,the varnish & sandpaper cost £2,however it needed new glass which set me back £85 !!

Another challenge was to persuade the lady of the house that a china cabinet full of green/ grey painted plastic could be displayed in the Hall, enter Yellow Sea King, Red-White-Grey Dominie, Silver Lightning, Black Hawk with a few brightly coloured inter war types had the desired effect.

Visitors to the house now make comments  "they're pretty" - "I used to make them" - "I used to fly in that one" - "worked on that - bloody awfulaircraft".
